About Matt

Hi, I’m Matt Gregg – your Labor candidate for Deakin.

I’m a lawyer and a former school teacher. I live in Ringwood and have called Deakin my home for over a decade.

As a former educator, I’ve spent a good part of my life listening to families’ needs and figuring out what needs to be done to create a future that young people can be excited about.

It means fighting for cost-of-living relief, accessible and affordable childcare and cutting HECS Debt fees.

That’s what Labor stands for – and it’s why I’ve put my hand up to run for Parliament as your Labor candidate.

I’m a big believer in ensuring everyone gets a fair go, and if given the chance – I won’t waste a day advocating for the people of Deakin.
